Know which numbers you can trust

I set up tracking for call taps and quote requests, then check the numbers against your actual enquiries. Analytics and Tracking is part of Basic Management.

Numbers you can use

A page opening can be recorded as an enquiry. Phone calls may be tracked while forms are missed. I look at what your tracking actually counts and fix the gaps.

Your longer view kept in sight

Long-term growth strategy followed each quarter as part of your wider digital operation.

What I usually find

  • A page opening recorded as an enquiry.
  • Three tools counting the same visit in different ways.
  • Phone calls tracked, but forms left out.

A click is only the beginning

A button click, a form entry and an order record describe different things. Useful reporting makes clear which event was counted and what can verify it.

  1. The recorded event

What did the website tracking count?

  2. The independent record

Is there a form entry, call log or order to check it against?

  3. The remaining gap

What is still missing or unavailable for verification?

I don't count a button click as a customer. I check the numbers against your actual enquiries.

Know what the figures can support

How it works

Your monthly report explains which numbers I could check, what is missing and what needs work.

When I cannot prove it

If a number cannot be checked against something real, I say so in your report. If you change systems, I mark the change so you know which figures can be compared.

If another provider controls your tracking, I explain the finding to you so the work can be agreed.
